February Prayer and Praise

Welcome to the Youth Dynamics Prayer and Praise Page! We have the privilege of sharing the Good News of Christ with students throughout the Northwest. Please join us as prayer partners with our staff. Thank you for interceding for YD ministries in February.

Here are the prayer and praise items for February:

February 1: Pray for Ken Solem’s left knee as he goes in for tests and treatment.  Pray for healing and God’s provision and leading with SWR horse program.

February 2: Pray for Bronco Huge and YDC directors meeting today.  Praise God for YD students who made commitments to Christ at Hotdoggin.

February 3: Pray for Shane Land and the YDA recruiting team meeting potential summer staff.  Pray for God to raise up laborers for the summer harvest!

February 4: Pray for Tim Nieuwsma and Nooksack Valley teens today.  Praise God for Amber Stacey joining the NVYD staff team! Pray for her support!

February 5: Pray for Jessica Ronhaar transitioning into the Arlington YD Director role.  Pray also for the Sunday night “Basic”series gatherings with students.

February 6: Pray for Kevik and Marta Rensink and Concrete YD students at their Monday night meetings.  Praise God for Kevik coaching high school girls basketball.

February 7: Pray for Courtney and Josh Remmenga as they adjust to married life.  Pray for God to raise up YD ministry partners to join them!

February 8: Sarah Strickland is praying for perseverance for staff raising funds: Daniel Weston, Peter Von Grey, Heidi Ladiges, and Mike Gaines.

February 9: Pray for Curt Dunlop and the health of his mom.  Pray for God to prepare the YDA Oregon team for this season with staff, finances, and trips.

February 10: Heather Utley praises God for Jerre Della the new office assistant in Support Services. Pray for her adjustment to the office responsibilities

February 11: Thank God for YD interns, Jared Harrison, Rachel Young, Julie Brezicha, Lesley Hollingsworth and Zach Iverson. 

February 12: Pray for Jade and Jed Barth as they meet with teen groups tonight.  Pray for Jade’s preparations for YD spring fundraisers.

February 13: Pray for Dave Oliver and the Moses Lake YD staff reaching out to students tonight.  Pray for God to provide abundantly.

February 14: Pray for Mark Moder and the YD staff call today.  Pray for God’s love to surround the YD staff and students who are being reached for Christ.

February 15: Pray for Greg Johnson and the SWR staff meeting today.  Praise God for new staff and pray for preparations for the coming spring and summer.

February 16: Pray for God’s provision and encouragement to Rich and Amy Heidecker.  Pray for Billy McMahan reaching students with Anacortes YD.

February 17: Pray for Paul Spence and the YDA Idaho staff student outreach on Fridays in Horseshoe Bend.  Pray for God’s provision for summer staff.

February 18: Pray for winter retreats at SWR and SWR staff:  Cindy Cram, Paul Heeren, Jim Foss, Regina Carlos, Chris Stay, and Rick D’ Atre.

February 19: Pray for Heather and Clay Utley working with Arlington youth on a service project in Ballard today.  Thank God for their son Max.

February 20: Pray for Dave Heinen and Republic YD staff and students on a ski day today.  Pray for conversations about Christ and seeds to be sown.

February 21: Pray for Brian Williams and the Whidbey Island YD staff and committee celebrating at their fundraising dinner tonight.  Pray for generous hearts!

February 22: Pray for Aaron Bryant and the video productions for YD Wednesdays to touch the hearts of our ministry partners.  Thank God for changed lives!

February 23: Pray for Aaron Spratt and Meredith Falk-Eldrege following up WIYD students from Hotdoggin.  Pray for God to supply funding needs.

February 24: Pray for YDA ID staff funding and preparations for summer:  Ryan and Susan Bentley, Clint Cullins, Mike Sharpmack, and Roger Mattei.

February 25: Pray for full funding for the YDA Oregon staff:  Dave Hanthorn, Becky Moore, Jeremy Bucher, Jerry Nesseth, and Elliott Otteson.

February 26: Pray for God to bless Tim and Wendy Johnson.  Thank God for Teci Greydanus and Carmen Bruner serving the staff in Support Services.

February 27: Pray for Jonas and Melanie Knudsen preparing for baby due in April.  Pray for Skagit Valley YD students gathering at the Cabin today.

February 28: Thank God for the YD Board and Leadership Team of YD. Pray for Mark Moder leading the LT reteat this week at Stonewater Ranch.

February 29: Praise God for the lives touched by Stuart and Miriam Delony with YD.  Pray for clarity and wisdom and God’s provision as they follow Christ.
