Making a Difference in Republic

I bet the first thing you are wondering is where in the world is Republic? Republic in nestled in the foothills of the Kettle Mountain Range in North-Central Washington. It is a small rural community with an elevation of about 2,500 feet and an approximate population of 1,000 people. Republic is located in Ferry County which is the ninth largest county in the state of Washington. There is a world-famous fossil quarry right in town and deer and turkeys are a common sight as one meanders through Republic.

I discovered this small town while job searching on the internet about a year ago. As most of you probably know Washington and Oregon are in competition for being the least churched states in the United States. Ferry County is one of the least churched counties in the State of Washington! There is much work to do in Republic and it is truly a mission field.

The opportunity to transform a community for Christ is what gets me EXCITED about this ministry! With this unique youth center in the middle of downtown Republic we have the opportunity to proclaim Christ continually to everyone! But none of this can happened without some help. We need a dedicated group of prayer warriors to undergird this ministry in prayer. Let me be clear, Republic is a dark place in serious need of the redeeming light of Christ and there is much work to be done.

What I would like to do is ask you to join me and my family as we minister to the youth in Republic. Join our team and make a difference in Republic!
