Page Photo I met my wife Lisa when we both volunteered in a junior high ministry while attending Central Washington University. I was drawn to her heart both for youth and the Lord. We married in the late spring of 1997, prior to her senior year of college. We both had dreams of attending seminary, though she was given the opportunity full time and achieved her Masters of Counseling from Western Seminary Seattle in the Spring of 2000. In addition to her day job, she ministered alongside me throughout my years as a youth pastor up until the birth of our first child; Eden Mercy who arrived on March 13, 2002. She is 3 now and is a blessing like no other. Upon arrival to Whidbey Island we found out we were expecting once again and on June 8, 2004 Jedidiah (loved by God) James was born. We couldn't be happier to have such a joy-filled child. Though Lisa's front-line youth ministry days are put on hold for now, she continues to support in every way she can. At the forefront is raising our children to love, honor and respect the gospel that calls us to live as we do: taking kids to church, hanging out at the YD coffee shop, and giving up daddy for some nights and weekends. Telling people about Jesus is not only our job, but our delight.
