September 2010
Your prayers provide for us a covering in the Lord for our family and ministry.
Your love has given me great joy and encouragement because you have refreshed the hearts of the saints. Philemon 7
Pray for the Gospel of Christ to bear fruit in the lives of students this year. Pray for hearts of students to be hungry to know Jesus.
Praise God for the students who made commitments to Christ this summer. Continue to pray for their relationships to grow in Jesus.
Pray that God would raise up new volunteers and full time staff to work with students in the new school year. Praise God for Billy McMahon, Courtney Powell, Daniel Weston, and Peter Von Grey our new YD laborers in the harvest field. Luke 10:2
Pray for the new support our family needs to raise to be fully supported. Praise God for the ministry partners that joined us this spring. We are still in need of 15% support.
Praise God for Dave Pauley, Toby Smith, and Mark Milan as they raised over $6000 at the YD Golf Marathon on August 30. Thank God for all the golfers who went the distance and raised over $68,000 for YD's ministry to Northwest youth!
Pray for preparations and for many to attend YD's 40th Anniversary celebration on October 9-10. Thank God for 40 years of faithfulness.
Please pray for Jo's parent's Ken and Peggy dealing with health issues. Pray for strength and spiritual encouragement for our family during this time.
Continue to pray for our kids: Brian, Jeff, Ben, and Nicole. Pray for spiritual hunger and direction as they grow up in the Lord.
Praise God for all our ministry partners who faithfully pray and give financially. Pray that God would bless them in 2010.
