About Arlington YD

Arlington YD started in 1994 and has been reaching teens in the greater Arlington area. Although the focus of YD’s outreach is Arlington area High School and Middle School students, we have youth participating from surrounding communities of Stanwood, Darrington, Granite Falls, Lake Stevens, and Marysville.

Arlington YD runs the Mud Hut, a drop-in-center that’s a safe place for teens to hang out. It’s a positive, safe environment for them to do their homework, play video games or pool, and drink coffee. The Mud Hut is open Tuesdays 4-8 and Thursdays 2:30-5pm and is located on the top floor of the American Legion building in downton Arlington (near the movie theater). Several times a year, YD also offers adventure trips like whitewater rafting, backpacking and rock-climbing. These trips teach teens responsibility, self-confidence, leadership skills and respect.

    We will be gathering together every Monday night from 6:30pm to 8:00pm at Jessica's house for a time of fellowship, food and Bible Study. We will be starting a Bible study called Discipleship Essentials. It will be a great time to learn the core values of what we believe and what makes us who we are. Join us if you believe in Jesus and would like to grow or if you have questions and would like to learn more. This will be a safe place to be who you are and to ask whatever you like.   • Mud Hut

    The Mud Hut is coffee shop/hang out for young people in Arlington to hang out. It's a coffee house that offers pool and video games. If you're in Arlington on Thursday afternoon, come check us out. We're on the 3rd floor of the American Legion building (near the movie theater) in downtown Arlington.     On Sundays we meet together as a community for dinner, worship, discussion, dessert, coffee, and small group times. Please check it out if you believe, are questioning or are just looking for some new community. This is a partnership with Arlington United Church and all are welcome, no matter age or social status.
