Just Ask Them

Page Photo Sometimes we make things much harder than they need to be. We decided we should just ask the kids if they would like to be in a relationship with an adult mentor, in a small group, or go to church if invited. The responce was amazing.

From that simple survey I have befriended a great new middle school gal. This 14-year-old has lived in seven different states as her mom has moved from boyfriend to boyfriend. She has had to grow up fast and is reponsible for her 8-year-old brother and is often counseling her mother. She marked yes to all three questions, so I have high hopes that she will help recruit a few friends for a small group, join me at church and make Jesus the Lord of her life.
