Page Photo Well, it's finally happened. After multiple attempts under my own power to become a YD staff, God has actually paved the way for me to be here now!

I was born and raised in Anacortes, and since I was 13 have known that YD is my destiny. However, I spent the 11 years following that epiphany running from the truth (while at the same time seeking truth...). When God called me at age 24 it was finally for real. He gave me a desire to work with teens and share life with them. I believe my experiences, mistakes and challenges are minstry tools, and that God will redeem my past, present and future through the work I am allowed to do with teens.

I praise God for His perfect timing! He is so faithful to set right all our wrongs and turn misery into beauty. I believe He can do that for each teen out there, and my desire is to share that with them. Along with my husband Rich, I also desire to bring them into relationship with as many Christian adults as I can and will be networking with adults to help them realize God's calling in their lives to reach out to today's generation.

Rich and I have been praying since we got married for a ministry that we could do as a team. We are thrilled that God has called us here, and are looking forward to blazing new trails as the first married couple to ever come on staff @ YD!
