YD Communities is about building relationships with young people while modeling an authentic Christian lifestyle that communicates genuine love and acceptance.

YDC enters the world of youth through volunteering, tutoring, coaching and more. We connect with students on their campuses, at shopping areas, in parks, at sporting events, and at other high school hangouts. We also open the doors of our facilities for drop-in times in order to provide a safe environment for students looking for a place to belong.

YD Communities also creates events that will foster depth in relationships and provide opportunities for students to hear about the gospel of Jesus Christ. We also utilize wilderness adventures opportunities where YDC staff are able to share an intense wilderness experience with a student and then continue to build on that relationship after returning home. YD Communities operates in rural and small-town areas of the Northwest, working together with local churches to build bridges between the student population that YDC staff meet and the local church population.
