Feb 08 Family Update
When I say I am in youth ministry, I feel I finally have the credentials, not that I am good at it, it's just that were raising the same age kids, day in and day out. It's a true blessing however to walk along side our kids as they grow up. This past year was quite stable in Johnson terms, no moving, no major incidents and a relative state of consistency. A couple highlights for our family was, going to the coast together, a quick trip to Idaho then Montana to see family and seeing old friends as they came for the staff reunion. Overall we are working to enjoy life and look for ways to squeak time with each other.
Stephen age 14, is taking on life as a young man having to help with Ranch and with family chores as well as an occasional snowmobile drive or ski. Kaylie 11, still enjoys singing and dancing every chance she gets. Aliya age 8, I believe will have a bakery or restaurant started by the age of 12, she loves to cook! She and Kaylie also feel the urge to dress up like pioneers now that we're living here. Finally there is Josiah age 5 going on 10, let's just say he is full throttle and desires to be a Nascar driver to boot. He keeps us all going with his energy and incredible soft heart.
Ursula and I age -getting up there, have moved our family from the mobile home to a cabin across the street. The added room is defiantly welcomed. This year brought many health issues for Ursula however, she is optimistic about recovery and continues to train, feed, transport and enjoy our kids. We are encouraged where God has us and open our home and the ranch for those who desire to visit. Thank you for your continued prayer and support!
