Greg Johnson, Director
Bio
Greg currently resides in Anacortes, Washington with his wife Ursula, and 4 children, Stephen, Kaylie, Aliya and Josiah. If he is not working and challenging teams in the field or in the office, he is at home. Greg spent most of his life in Bellingham where he went to school and worked at a supervisor before getting married in 1988. During that time, Greg felt pressed to help youth define Gods purpose for their lives. Greg and Ursula spent many of their early years together impacting and challenging youth working for Reachout Expeditions.
Before taking the position at YD Adventures Greg was formerly team development facilitator for Scimitar Ridge's portfolio companies and the director of the Scimitar Leadership Academy. His focus was to challenge individuals and teams to discover, develop, and integrate key leadership principles, interpersonal skills, and behaviors that improve leadership performance. He has served as team consultant, designer and/or developer for profit and non profit organizations including Microsoft, Starbucks, and Injoy. Greg's background of 20 years in adventure education, corporate team and leadership development enables him to bring a big picture perspective to Youth Dynamics. As a former chief trainer and guide with Reachout Expeditions, Greg continues to hold a strong passion in seeing youth challenged to grow into mature next generation Christian leaders. It also gives him a chance to give back to an organization that has helped clarify his own vision, values, and faith.
