Pressing On!
I am entering my 3rd season with YD Adventures Oregon. What an amazing trip it has been! It is true that when you follow Jesus, you never know what is around the corner, but you know that he is good. I know that God is using this journey with it's victories and struggles to bring glory to himself. I firmly believe that is why we are all here, to make God more visible to those around us.
The path that follows Jesus is certainly not an easy one, but he is a guide that we know we can trust to take us on the ultimate adventure, knowing that someday we will arrive safely at our destination. In the mean time let it be about the journey. Paul said it well to the Philippians, and I think of it often, "I press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of me." Today if you need encouragement in your life, remember what Jesus pressed through for you...sin and death itself. All to make a way for you to come to him and the Father, to restore lost relationship, to love and be loved.
