Background and History
YD Adventures Oregon began in 1981 as Quest Ministries, the wilderness adventure component of Creative Camping Ministries, Inc. (CCMI). At the end of the 1984 season, Creative Camping Ministries closed its doors and Quest was on its own. In early 1985 Quest Ministries was adopted by Youth Dynamics and changed its name to Reachout Expeditions Oregon.

After operating under the name of Reachout Expeditions for more than 20 years in Oregon, in 2005 the name was changed to YD Adventures. YD Adventures Oregon has ministered to well over 20,000 students since 1981.
