    The Cabarton section of the North Fork Payette begins about 8 miles south of Cascade, ID and continues 11 miles through beautiful, forested wilderness before our take-out at Smith's Ferry. Wildlife abounds, as well as warm water to swim and play in. Before we're done, class III rapids such as Trestle, Francois, and Howard's Plunge will provide us with an exciting and memorable experience on the river.
