Seven days in one of the most isolated regions in the lower 48 states will pull you away from the distractions of everyday living, and allow what is truly important to emerge. Immersed in the magnificent and remote canyons of the Lower Owyhee River, you will step into an experience of awe, reverence, and wonder that will leave you changed. YD Adventures uses this environment to facilitate a more intimate relationship between you and your creator. Untouched and pristine, the Upper Owyhee offers a trip of grandeur. Immersed in deep desert canyons, challenge and discovery await. Rapids and portages will challenge us as we travel down a truly exceptional river. What if you could go to a place that few people will ever go in their lifetime, do something few people will ever do, see things that few people will ever see and discover things about yourself that you never knew were there? This course is for the group that desires to “dig deeper”, both relationally and spiritually. Kayaking the Owyhee River provides an opportunity to take a complete break from all that distracts us – no video games, no television, no cell phones and no clock to live by. 5 days in one of the most isolated regions in the lower 48 states will remind you and your students of what has eternal value.
