Heart stirrings

Page Photo Recently I heard a quote from CS Lewis that captures a theme from my times of reflection.

"God whispers to us in our pleasures, speaks in our conscience, but shouts in our pains: it is His megaphone to rouse a deaf world."

Part of my journey over the last few years has been to process and talk through the experiences of my life. It has been such a joy to see how God has redeemed my story.

The reality for me has been that some of the most painful experiences of my life have been a catalyst for God to shape my heart and my character. They have also been the things that have given me a platform to minister to others.

Each of us has had unique experiences... some good and some hard. When I reflect on the hard things in life it gives me hope to look at them through the lens of redemption.
