My calling

Page Photo I had the privilege of having my parents, Paul and Connie Evans, as the founders of Youth Dynamics. Growing up around YD helped to shape my heart and my own desire to see young people come to Christ.

I have so many fond memories of the "big kids". Whether those were times of seeing teens around our house eating all the food and breaking the furniture, or going to retreats where dad would speak and mom would cook the food. I saw my parents live out their passion for young people and it had a huge impact on my life.

I remember when I was in 2nd grade at Fidalgo Elementary school in Anacortes. The school brought in a fireman to talk about careers. It was great, he had the hat, the truck the cool dog... I was quite impressed. At the end of his presentation he asked if any of us know what we wanted to do when we grew up. I raised my hand and said "I want to work with high school kids."

Throughout Jr.High and highschool I was involved in YD as a student and that had an impact on my own spiritual life. After highschool and time at Bible College I came on full-time staff in 1989.

I feel so blessed to be a part of this ministry and look forward to continuing to live out my hearts desire to see teens in the Northwest meet Christ personally.
